Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about ordering custom apparel from DenimByte — MOQ, samples, payments, production, quality control, and worldwide shipping.
What products can DenimByte manufacture?
We manufacture custom t-shirts, hoodies, tracksuits, sportswear, leather jackets, bomber jackets, varsity jackets, uniforms, workwear, caps, accessories, labels, hang tags, and packaging.
Are you a direct factory or a sourcing agent?
DenimByte is a direct manufacturer — we own and operate our production facility. You work directly with the people making your garments, with no sourcing agent or middleman in between.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ means Minimum Order Quantity. It is the smallest number of pieces a manufacturer will accept for one design, style, colour, or order. MOQs exist because factories need to cover fabric, trims, cutting, sewing, setup, and production planning costs.
DenimByte supports low MOQ custom clothing production, making it accessible for startups, small brands, teams, and wholesale buyers. MOQ varies depending on product type, fabric, and branding details — contact us with your requirements for a confirmed figure.
Can I order a sample before bulk production?
Yes. Every professional brand should order a pre-production sample first. Visit our Samples page to order a physical sample and check quality, fit, stitching, and finishing before committing to bulk manufacturing. Your sample cost is credited against your bulk order when you proceed.
Can you manufacture clothing under my brand name?
Yes. We offer full private label clothing manufacturing — your garments can be produced with your own logo, custom neck labels, hang tags, care labels, woven labels, packaging, and retail-ready finishing.
Do I need a tech pack to request a quote?
A tech pack is helpful but not always required. You can upload reference images, logos, sketches, measurements, size charts, or design notes — our team will guide you through the rest.
Can you add my logo to clothing?
Yes. We offer embroidery, DTF printing, screen printing, puff printing, sublimation, patches, chenille badges, and custom label options — all applied to your specification.
What are your payment terms?
We typically require 40% deposit to begin production, with the balance due before shipment. Exact terms are confirmed with your quote based on order size and product.
Do you ship worldwide? Do I need to pay customs or import duties?
Yes — DenimByte ships to over 40 countries, including the UK, US, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Middle East, all with tracked delivery. Import duties and taxes vary by destination country and order value, so they aren't included in your product price by default. Our team can advise on estimated landed costs for your specific country when you request your quote, so there are no surprises at customs.
What quality control checks do you carry out?
Every order goes through inspection at multiple stages of production — not just at the end — to catch issues early rather than after a full batch is finished.
What happens if there's a delay or a quality issue with my order?
We communicate proactively if a timeline shifts, so you're never left chasing updates on your own. Every order goes through quality inspection before shipping, and if an issue is identified, our team works with you directly to resolve it rather than leaving you to manage it after delivery.
Where is DenimByte's production facility located?
Our garments are manufactured in our own production facility in Pakistan, with a dedicated support team based in our UK office to handle quotes, communication, and order management from start to finish. This means you're always working directly with the people responsible for your order — not a third-party agent.
How do you offer factory-direct pricing?
Because DenimByte owns and operates its own production facility, you're pricing directly with the manufacturer — there's no sourcing agent, trading company, or middleman adding a markup between you and the factory floor. That typically means better pricing at the same MOQ compared to going through an intermediary, without compromising on communication or oversight.
How do I request a custom apparel quote?
Choose your product, share your quantity, size breakdown, colours, fabric preference, branding method, and any label or packaging requirements. Upload your files and tech pack, and our team will respond with pricing, lead time, and production details.
How do I find a manufacturer to make clothes?
Start by choosing your product type, preparing a design or tech pack, then asking manufacturers about MOQ, sample cost, lead time, fabric options, branding, and shipping. A proper tech pack helps manufacturers quote accurately because garment costing depends on fabric, construction, trims, packaging, shipping, labour, and overheads.
How much does it cost to manufacture your own clothes?
There is no single fixed price. Cost depends on fabric, GSM, construction difficulty, quantity, trims, printing, embroidery, labels, packaging, and shipping. Samples are usually more expensive than bulk pieces because the factory is developing the product, not just producing it. Industry sources note that samples across the manufacturing trade generally cost 2–3x the final unit price, since sampling is development work, not production.
What is a custom apparel manufacturer?
A custom apparel manufacturer produces clothing based on your exact requirements — including fabric, fit, colour, branding, labels, packaging, and quantity. DenimByte handles every stage from sample development to bulk production and worldwide delivery.
