Pricing
What Drives the Cost of Custom T-Shirts
We quote every order individually rather than publish list prices, because the same style can vary widely in cost. These are the factors that move the number, roughly in order of impact.
Material
- Fabric weight and fibre: heavyweight and organic cottons sit above standard ring-spun.
- Colour: dyed-to-match fabric for a custom Pantone costs more than stock colours.
- Fabric finishes: enzyme or silicone wash, garment dye.
Construction and decoration
- Construction: side-seamed versus tubular, taped necks, double-needle hems, contrast panels.
- Decoration: screen print is most economical at volume; DTF and embroidery suit small runs and detail.
- Branding: printed or woven neck labels, hem tags, hang tags and poly bags.
Quantity
- 5-piece runs: setup and pattern cost is spread across few units; from around 50 pieces the unit cost drops materially.
- Size spread: many sizes in a small run means more patterns per unit; one or two sizes keeps it efficient.
