What Drives the Cost of Custom Streetwear
We quote every order individually rather than publish list prices, because the same style can vary widely in cost. These are the factors that move the number, roughly in order of impact.
Material
- Fabric weight: 500 GSM fleece and 265 GSM jersey sit well above standard weights.
- Garment washes and dyes: acid, vintage and enzyme washes add a process step.
- Specialist fabrics: nylon shells with lining, heavyweight denim.
Construction and decoration
- Construction: double hoods, oversized blocks, panelled cargos with many pockets.
- Decoration: puff print, chenille and dense embroidery over single-colour screen print.
- Branding: woven labels, hem tags, hang tags, custom packaging.
Quantity
- 5-piece runs: setup and pattern cost is spread across few units; from around 50 pieces the unit cost drops materially.
- Size spread: many sizes in a small run means more patterns per unit; one or two sizes keeps it efficient.
